Steve Studied the saxophone and composition at The Guildhall School of Music in London graduating in 1988. He has toured and recorded with bands & artists including Blur, Radiohead, Swing Out Sister Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and The Pet Shop Boys.
Steve began writing music to picture in the 1990s, writing and producing many successful international commercial campaigns including Schweppes, Coca Cola and Irn Bru. He scored two Anglo-Canadian feature films and many documentaries for production houses including the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5 and numerous others.
Steve has won many awards such as the New York Film Festival music award in 2003 and 2008, Best Film at the 48hour Film Challenge in 2004 and The Baghdad Blogger (an ongoing series for Newsnight) won an RTS award in 2005.
In 2006, he wrote the music for Baghdad: A Doctor’s Story, which won an Emmy in 2007.He wrote the score for the 'Man Who Married Himself which won the Los Angeles and Rhode Island Film Festivals in 2010.
Steve is an member of the SAS Band (since 1995), and a member of The Disconauts since 1999 - a DJ , horns and percussion group based in Ireland.He is currently playing saxophone for 'Madness' which included playing at the closing ceremony of the Olympics and for the Queen's Jubilee on top of Buckingham Palace in 2012.
